The French Police are public enemy number one now for sex workers. They are cracking down on prostitution and have even implemented an anti-pimping brigade. Per TMZ, there will be checkpoints and other road operations to target pimps and sex workers in the City of Lights.

Pimps and hoes have responded by saying, they aren’t even coming to Paris for the Olympics anyway due to the incredible high cost for accommodations such as hotels. France officially outlawed brothels in 1946, but made paying someone for sex illegal in 2016, an effort to punish the client instead of the worker.

What two consenting adults do with their time is none of Paris’s business but this is pretty on brand for France.
