Now, I’m not saying this needs to be “The Decision 2.0” with a sit down and reveal. MLB, major sports media tv networks, nobody is selling this monumental event. If you want people to watch baseball, they need to care about the product and the players! If you can’t get people to care about the players, why the hell would they watch a game on a Tuesday at 7:00 in the middle of July? MLB’s marketing efforts with another “swing and a miss”. They would rather let this news break by some geriatric nerd on Twitter than market this event in SOME way. All I’m saying is there is NOTHING being done and it’s sad because I love the game of baseball and Rob Manfred has no idea how to market his product.
